Paula Mangiarelli, Physical Therapist & Owner

Paula has over 40 years of experience as a physical therapist in the Youngstown-Warren Ohio area. She founded Mangiarelli Rehabilitation in 2010. Her specialty is industrial rehabilitation. She works with injured workers and chronic pain patients, and is certified in dry needling.

Sue Davis, Physical Therapy Assistant

Sue earned her Associate Degree from Penn State as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She works in all areas of outpatient rehabilitation but specializes in aquatic therapy and lymphedema. She has been in charge of the Aquatic Therapy program at Mangiarelli Rehabilitation for twelve years. She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist three years ago and is trained to perform Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) on patients who have been diagnosed with Lymphedema.

Sharon Walker, Medical Records Technician

Sharon joined our team in March 2022 and works closely with Drena to serve our patients in the front office. Sharons scans reports, pre-registers and schedules physical therapy patients, prepares patient charts, confirms physical therapy appointments, and supports Drena in office management.

Lyle Almburg, Physical Therapy Assistant

Lyle joined the Mangiarelli Rehabilitation team in July 2023 as a physical therapy assistant. He specializes in sports rehabilitation, strength and balance training, and joint replacement rehabilitation.

Sarah Mangiarelli-Boyle, Physical Therapist

Sarah has practiced as a physical therapist for 12 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2007 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in 2010. She specializes in orthopedic injuries and post-surgery rehabilitation in addition to treating pain and neuromuscular disorders. She also treats patients who exhibit impaired balance.

Drena Smith, Office Manager

Drena has worked in the physical therapy field for 24 years, 12 of the years with Mangiarelli Rehabilitation. Drena manages front desk duties and patient services, including administrative tasks, human resources, and accounts payable.

Renee Pachol, Physical Therapy Assistant

Renee joined our team in February 2023 as a physical therapy assistant working under the direction and supervision of the physical therapists to carry out individualized plans of care for each patient. Renee comes to Mangiarelli Rehabilitation with decades of experience as a physical therapy assistant.

Chris H., Administrative Assistant

Sharon joined our team in 2022 as our administrative assistant. She works closely with Drena, handling patient scheduling, patient files, billing, and insurance coverage for patients.

Bobby Mangiarelli, Physical Therapist

Bobby has practiced as a physical therapist for eight years, specializing in sports injury rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation, particularly Parkinson’s Disease. He is certified in dry needling. He graduated from John Carroll University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and from Slippery Rock University in 2014 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Patti Ciferno, Physical Therapy Assistant

Patti has worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant for twenty-eight years. She specializes in manual therapy, myofascial release, core strengthening, and aquatic therapy. She is certified in Stott Pilates Institute in Mat and Reformer classes.

Lenore Mangiarelli, Marketing Manager

Lenore coordinates and manages Mangiarelli Rehabilitation’s marketing, social media, website, and online presence. She joined Mangiarelli Rehabilitation in 2020. She graduated from Franciscan University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015 with a Master in International Development. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
